Academy owners and admins

Add learners to your roster

A learner has to be on your academy's roster before they can be put in a class.

  1. Open Academy → Learners and search for the learner by username or email address.

  2. If they have no ChessBinder account yet, invite them by email instead.

    They join your roster automatically when they register with that address.

  3. For a whole class list at once, use Import roster and upload your spreadsheet.

    Imported people sit on the roster as contacts until they register and match; only then can they be put in a class.

  4. Wait for the learner to accept. Until they do, they are invited rather than enrolled.
